Cozumel is constantly bathed by the flow of the Yucatan current, which produces crystal blue water and visibility often exceeding 100 feet! With over 30 dive sites, the underwater landscape includes majestic walls, huge pinnacles, swim-thru, and cathedrals overgrown with coral, sponges, and giant sea fans. Our trips leave every day at 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. We dive in small groups with a maximum of eight divers, using fast boats. Our dive sites each day are “divers’ choice.” All our dives are at least 60 minutes or longer, depending on your air consumption, and we always plan for at least a 60 - 70 minute surface interval. Cozumel Dive Academy does not shorten your dives to suit our schedule!
We also schedule special trips for advanced divers to dive sites like Punta Sur, Maracaibo, and Barracuda.
Rental equipment, Nitrox, 100CF cylinders, and private divemasters are available upon request.
As a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center, safety is our top priority. Our boats have Emergency Oxygen and First Aid Kits on board. In addition, our PADI Divemasters and Instructors are trained in current CPR and first aid procedures.
