Academics
The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of dive activities. Through knowledge development sessions, water skills exercises and workshops, and hands-on practical assessments, you develop the skills to organize and direct various scuba diving activities. Prerequisites
The minimum age is 18 The minimum scuba certification level is dependent on the program you choose. Would you please check the prerequisites for your specific Internship?

Divers Alert Network (DAN) Divers Insurance We require all our Interns to carry DAN Insurance for their protection.
Meal We recommend that you budget about $500 per month for food, shopping, and entertainment. Of course, this depends upon your taste.
Transportation to and from Cozumel, along with any required visas
Accommodations
You will stay with your fellow interns in a comfortable furnished private house. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, two spacious living rooms with TV and DVD players, a private pool, a rooftop palapa to relax in at the end of the day, and WIFI.
The house is a short taxi ride or a walk to all the local attractions Cozumel has to offer, and several restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores are located nearby.
You are not required to stay in our housing. We will assist you if you prefer private accommodations or a hotel package.
Payment and cancellation policy
A USD 250.00 non-refundable deposit is due upon your accepting your Internship. Full payment is due 45 days before the start of your program.

If you cancel your Divemaster Internship booking, the following penalties apply.
30 or more days before arrival: forfeit - 25% of total Cost excluding depositLess than 30 days before the scheduled start date - 50% of the total cost, excluding the depositAfter your Internship has started, the course is non-refundable
We do understand that unforeseen situations can and do arise. If you need to cancel your booked Internship, we will do our best to reschedule you for an alternate program. In the event of an extreme circumstance, we will work with you regarding any possible refund option.
Can I stay and complete my Instructor Development Course if I decide to?
We would love for you to stay and complete your PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) with us. You can add your IDC and any other training you want anytime during your program. Remember, you must be a certified diver for six months before starting your IDC.
