How the PADI Open Water Referral Works

During your referral program, you will complete the four required open-water training dives over two days with a PADI Instructor.

Day One — Shore Training Dives

Your first two open-water training dives are normally completed from shore. Your instructor will review your referral paperwork, confirm your readiness, help you get comfortable with the equipment, and guide you through the required open-water skills in a relaxed training environment.

Day Two — Two-Tank Boat Dive
