Advanced Open Water to Divemaster

Six-Week Program

If you have already earned your PADI Advanced Open Water certifiction (or equivalent) and have at least 20 logged dives this is is your starting point. The Advanced Open Water to Divemaster Internship is a six week program and includes:

• PADI Rescue Diver course
• Emergency First Response CPR & First Aid
• DAN Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries
• PADI Divemaster Course

Rescue Diver to Divemaster

Five-Week Program

As a PADI Rescue Diver(or equivalent certification), and have at least 30 logged dives this will be your starting point on your journey to becoming a PADI Divemaster. This Internship includes:

• Emergency First Response Primary & Secondary Care
• DAN Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries
• PADI Divemaster Course

Course Overview

Every PADI store teaches the same basic criteria when they teach the PADI Divemaster course.  Not all PADI stores are the same with their approach to training PADI Pros. Dive Boutique Cozumel is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center and focuses on what makes a good divemaster a great divemaster!. Your PADI Divemaster Internship with Dive Boutique Cozumel will transform you into a skilled leader ready to guide divers in various settings, while giving you a solid foundation to build on as you progress towards the PADI Instructor level. You will gain extensive experience through the following practical workshops and hands-on assessments.

We will go beyond the basic course curriculum and include additional workshops on Risk Management, How to handle a missing diver/student and several more real life situations.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Certification requirements vary by Program (from Open Water to Rescue Diver level).
• Must have a completed Medical Statement signed and dated by a medical professional within 12 months of the program start date.
   

Payment & Cancellation Policy

• A non-refundable deposit of $350.00 is required upon acceptance.
• Full payment is due at the start of your program in Cozumel.
