ABOUT COZUMEL About Cozumel

Cozumel may be a small island, but it offers a wealth of dive opportunities!  The island, which is only 12 miles off the coast of the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico, offers lush walls, excellent visibility, and some pretty fast drift dives. The island’s reef system is protected by the Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park and is home to 26 coral species and more than 500 species of fish.

Cozumel is an ideal place to develop your professional dive skills - PADI ranks it as one of the top ten places for advanced diving as a result of its deep walls and visibility. The island offers a wide variety of dive sites, easily accessed from the shore or by a short boat trip.

Besides, there is no bad time to dive in Cozumel! The water temperatures are constant throughout the year at 78-82°F.

There is more to the island than diving - great food, friendly people, some fabulous white sand beaches and a range of accommodation.
